Policies

  1. I allow a 10 minute grace period for appointment times. If you are late for any reason, please contact me and we can see if the appointment can be adjusted. If you are 15 minutes late, the appointment will be cancelled and your booking fee will be forfeited. 

  2. There is a $20 booking fee to be applied when starting a new booking. This booking fee will be forfeited if you do not show for your appointment or cancel without 24 hours notice. This $20 charge will be rolled over to rebooked appointments to secure your next appointment. 

  3. I will be instituting a cancellation fee. If more than 24 hrs notice is provided, there will be no charge. Under 24 hrs will be 50% of your booked in service, and under 6 hrs will incur a full service charge. 
    After hours appointments (Mondays + before/after 10am-7pm) cancellations will incur a full service fee if cancelled within 24 hours. 

  4. If you do not show for your appointment and do not provide reasoning, you will be red flagged in my system. If this occurs more than three times, you will not be allowed to make future bookings with me. 

  5. You must be over the age of 16 to book in for nail enhancements and gel services. If I believe you are under the age of 16, I will ask for proof of age before beginning your service. You may book in for regular polish manicures. If you're after gel services, I require a parental consent form to be signed in person prior to starting our service.

  6. Nail art MUST be booked in at the time of your booking! Small designs (two basic feature nails) may be graced if they do not take more than 5 minutes to complete, however more than two nails and intricate designs will need to be discussed prior to appointment time. 

  7. Please reschedule if you have any cough, cold, or flu like symptoms! I have an immunocompromised household, and I am a sole trader. If I cant work, I cant pay my bills. 

  8. Infills are 4 weeks difference. Anything over that is classified as a full set and may incur a higher charge. 

  9. I offer a 48 hour window for repairs. Any damage done to your nails outside of that time will incur a fee if a fix is needed.

  10. I accept outside food and drink being brought to your appointment. Time has a way of slipping away quickly and sometimes we dont get a chance to eat, so I will never say no to anyone needing to refuel during our appointment.

  11. I do not offer refunds. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, I offer a 72 hour window for fixes. Anything outside of that will not be graced. 

  12. Information collected from my booking page or at our time of appointment is strictly confidential. It will only be used if I need to contact you regarding your appointment or in case of emergency. I am the only person who will have access to your records. Information is never shared or sold and is kept private for your protection. I appreciate your cooperation in providing me with information needed to best serve you.

Payment Details

I accept bank transfer and EFTPOS transactions. Cash may be accepted if discussed prior to appointment, however I do not keep cash on the premises so keep that in mind before attending your appointment.

Accessibility

Stardust Studio is wheelchair friendly and can be adapted to be a sensory safe space.

Safe Space

Stardust Nail Studio welcomes people of all genders, the LGTBQIA+ community, people of colour, and people with disability. I do not tolerate hateful behaviour or discussion, and reserve the right to end your appointment if you display behaviour that does not align with a general safer-spaces policy, or makes me or anyone else in our salon uncomfortable. I aim to make my studio as inclusive as possible, and will happily adjust the space as best I can to suit those with sensory, mental, or physical disability.
